2010 Lexus LS 600h L Updated to Frankfurt car

Veritas RS III

Veritas RS III official price at €342,000($487,000),it not cheap. You’re strapped into a retro rocket sled behind the BMW M division’s 5-liter V10 with 500 horsepower on tap. A more powerful 620-horsepower version is also said to be available, which would presumably ratchet the price up even higher. Only 30 examples are to be made, and the sticker price also gives us a reference point for the upcoming fixed-roof version and reported aircraft-engined sport-ute that the company is said to be working on. Better start saving those pennies, fellas. Follow the jump for an inspirational, adrenaline-inducing video.

Geneva Motor Show 2009 Swiss Misses

Every year we board our flights to the Geneva Motor Show after telling our significant others (wives, fiances, imaginary girlfriends) that we’re going for the cars. We might even believe it when we say it, too, but then we get here and batting eyes, pouting lips and mile-long legs keep getting in the way of our cameras. We’d ask them to step out of the frame, but, well… that would just be rude and we were raised better than that. (Some of us were, anyway.) So it may not help us on the home front, but here is who we met at this year’s show.

Mazda RX-8

Traditionally, Mazda has a large presence at the Tokyo Auto Salon, and the 2009 show won’t be any different. Mazda will have 13 vehicles on hand in January to showcase the automaker’s continued commitment to its “zoom-zoom” philosophy, along with concepts carrying the theme (and we quote) “Driving-oriented environmental technologies for endless driving pleasure.” Mkay.

Nissan GT-R

The Nissan GT-R V Spec will allegedly be packing 520 horses when it arrives some time next year. That still won’t be enough for a lot of people (especially folks who want to win seriously competitive drag races), so Hennessey is offering GT-R upgrades that beef Godzilla up to 600 hp.

Subaru pulling out of WRC tomorrow

Even more bad news (motor)sports fans. According to a report by Finnish sports site MT3.fi, Subaru Race Car will follow in the footsteps of Suzuki and pull out of the 2009 World Rally Championship (WRC) season.

Lamborghini Reiter Engineering Murcielago R-GT Strada

The benefits of motorsports usually have a way of trickling down to road cars, although in this particular case the connection is fairly direct. Lamborghini Reiter Engineering Murcielago R-GT Strada sports cars, the factory-backed motorsports company that competes in the FIA GT1 and GT3, recently unveiled a street legal version of its Lamborghini Reiter Engineering Murcielago R-GT Strada sports cars at the Essen Motor Show.

Top 10 Most Stolen Cars

Drumroll please! The 2008 Top 10 most popular cars among car thieves are… The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and Highway Loss Data Institute recently released their list of the Top 10 Most Stolen Cars for 2008, and trucks and SUVs are the biggest target.

New Chevrolet Cruze WTCC Car

For the past few years General Motors has been competing in the World Touring Car Championship (New Chevrolet Cruze WTCC Car) with a car based on the Daewoo-built Chevrolet Lacetti. Top Gear fans will of course recognize the Lacetti as the current Reasonably Priced Car for Stars to demonstrate their track abilities.
